Next gov job review!

\"There is a building...\"
\"...and in this building there are many papers...\"
\"...random papers. Blank papers. Not papers.\"
I've had government jobs this year that horrified me as an efficiency freak. This job takes the cake. Almost every state document gets copied printed and sent to a facility that puts them in boxes. They have a WHOLE BUILDING dedicated to this! No I did not sign any NDA... got hippa certified...zip! This took place in a room the size of an airplane hangar. So you must be thinking, \"the government keeps lots of data. That's nothing! You should see what we keep at my job.\" No. I'm talking, bits of scrap paper, banners, emails, books, tapes, maps, pamphlets, genetic testing data, hospital income reports, employee reviews, news articles, laminated pictures of people smiling, and sites off the Internet.
Some of us kept getting rehired at the end of each day. Everyday was our last day. I thought that was pretty funny that they had lots money and no idea how long they need us.
My confidence in the way our government handles data is tarnished. Today I have enough money to go back to school but I intend to keep getting these jobs because no education is going to show me this: How competent and organized my state really is. I might have to run for office.
