yeah, when I went back over I thought it had been out since about June, but that is when they started handing them out to a few for reviewing. I gather they just hit the shelves a couple of days ago.

Having never touched any CH products or this, I can give any real feed back. .. guess I need to hit Best buy and look around.

From the bit that I've read the bodies are sturdy, but we will need to see how springs, triggers, and actuators hold up.

Way to stay on form there bro.

I will say that I'm not the \"average user\". I don't slam my equipment around. (execpt my mouse when I was building D3 levels ) I can't believe that there guys snapping off the triggers of the Cyborg 3D Gold! That's just nuts.

Not sure about the Cyborg Gold, but I had triggers on two different Cyborg Evos break on me after only a few weeks of play. When I opened up the sticks, I saw why; there's a tiny plastic tab on part of the trigger that snaps off. Just not well-designed.

I broke my Cyborg hat switch after only 2 hours on Polaris…no wait…that must have been Abend…because we all know, that’s the only level I ever played.

Too bad, because that gimble was sweet!

I liked my cyborg also...up until the trigger broke

I had my stick for 5 years. You guys are too rough on your equip.

I use a small finishing nail cut to length, heat it up with the soldering iron and push it through where the plastic tabs were. Wont break again.

That gaming cockpit halfway down the page is INSANE! Love the use of X-Keys keyboards!

The Cyborg Evo has a light trigger intentionally. The construction may not be perfect, but it's intended to be light; the trigger is marketed as rapid fire, so they made it light with shallow range of motion. I have had my Evo for over a year and the trigger hasn't broken with me using for my afterburer.

if it happens again on a new stick or you pull yours apart for some reason post some macro pics for a tutorial
