Would anyone be willing to build one of the convertors and ship it to Canada? And I'm sure some other people would want some so you could make a few and make a buck?

I could, just no money. I used to solder all day long. Buy the stuff and have it sent to me. I'll put it together and send it along. I'll cover shipping and duty.
