Nintendo Wii

Post by CDN_Merlin »

Anyone have it? What games do you play on it?

I own the Wii, Wii Fit and I love playing the games that come with it. Recently bought Wii Resort and in total love with it.

Well for those who have signatures turned on, you can see a whole slew of games I have, including the Wii games.

Signatures are disabled by the administration.

I do not own a Wii, but have played a few Wii games and enjoy them. I have played Mario Kart Wii (awesome, fun racer), Super Smash Bros Brawl, and a couple other titles I don't remember the names to at the moment. The Wii is a great console when well utilized, but other times it's not so great.

OT....

Now that the DBB has split into .net and .com is there any reason why we couldn't have signatures turned back on?

the feature was abused, so it was turned off.

They also get in the way of searches.. On http://www.descent2.de if you try to search for Ubuntu you'll get everyone's post that has a signature with the word. Also this forum looks better with out them.

Agreed. They tend to badly clutter threads (especially when people put images in their sigs), or at the very least they distract from serious discussion.

No, they're really not. There are still plenty of wackos still here on .net. (You've seen the avatars, now imagine what their sigs would be.)

I have a Wii, but I don't play it as much as the 360 or the computer.

Games:
The Conduit (THE best game on there! Has multiplayer)

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (great game. Multiplayer is mediocre)

Metroid Prime 3

DarkFlameWolf, what is the difference between \"beaten\" and \"Completed?\"

If that was my list, D3 would have it's own beaten catagory. \"OverlyUberCompletelyBeaten!\"

I've played Mario Cart and Super Smash Bro but don't find them that much fun. I actualyl prefer Wii Sports and Wii Resort.

I love the creative dementia of Rayman Raving Rabbids, 1 and 2. Haven't tried TV Party, but I heard it sucked.
Wii Play is also nice; my favorite minigames are the laser hockey and tank battle, and the fishing one can be fun too.

I'm a big fan of the Wii and Mario Kart in particular - Seems like I'm not along in that either:

Haven't really done any consoles. I'm more of a PC gamer myself. I have played Rock Band with my friend, but I couldn't identify what console it was on.

Shut up Neo.

Last console I had was a Super Nintendo and I had a lot of fun with it, I still have all my games as ROMs on the PC and I play them a bit once or twice a year. Side scrollers are still some of the best games ever. Modern consoles which mostly take after PC gaming and first person shooters have next to zero creativity and don't interest me at all.

I disagree, gamepads definitely have their place. Try playing a super nintendo game with a mouse+keyboard and get back to me. Games are more than just first person shooters.

It's never good to wake up in the shrubs naked, you either got way too drunk, or your azz is a werewolf.
