Obama a man of peace. I think not
the use of this on ANY population should be classified as a war crime, and people though Bush was evil.

my chief concern is how in-humain it is. the shreaking sound it makes before it goes off has got to be a human rights violation

I'm suddenly reminded of happy days where the fonz jumped the shark.
...just so long as it stays a joke and doesnt degrade into a right vs left diatribe, which happens so often in E&C

I'm okay with that. (That said, I'm not sure I would have moved this particular one, as could easily turn serious.)Ferno wrote:so political topics, even if they're a joke article, are now fine for the cafe?

In general, E&C is for attempts to have serious discussions regarding topics people might consider important. Even jokes that are meant to spark discussion of said topics are E&C material.Ferno wrote:so political topics, even if they're a joke article, are now fine for the cafe?
The Onion, however, is not E&C material. I don't see anyone even attempting to make a serious point from this, because there isn't one. It's just funny.
