Long story. Suffice it to say that the primary difference is in admin moderation (outside the No-Holds-Barred forum, of course). DBB.com is somewhat more open to 'adult' conversation, while DBB.net tries to keep things generally 'family-friendly'.

There are some who refuse to visit one forum or the other, but you'll find that most people (including myself) frequent both boards.
