The Governator 's Revenge

I'd never heard of the term 'acrostic style' before Schwarzenegger used it in his written reply to the California Assembly concerning Assembly Bill 1176, but apparently targeted towards San Francisco Assemblyman Tom Ammiano:

LETTER CONTENTS
======================

To the Members of the California State Assembly:

I am returning Assembly Bill 1176 without my signature.

Code: Select all

For some time now I have lamented the fact that major issues are overlooked while many
unnecessary bills come to me for consideration. Water reform, prison reform, and health
care are major issues my Administration has brought to the table, but the Legislature just
kicks the can down the alley.

Yet another legislative year has come and gone without the major reforms Californians
overwhelmingly deserve. In light of this, and after careful consideration, I believe it is
unnecessary to sign this measure at this time.
Sincerely,

Arnold Schwarzenegger

Can you find the birdie?

Isn't this what Cuda posted about in the E&C forum?

Can you highlight where you found those words because this isn't acrostic. Acrostic is whenn the first letter of each line is part of a word and it spells sommething. All I saw was gibberish.

numberZero, look only at these lines:

Ahh, this looks a little different and makes more sense. I was looking at this on my DSi last night and it was spaced out completely different.

Sorry, I forgot to insert BBCode to make it format correctly. Oopsie!

I edited the original above post so that (hopefully) the text comes out in the right line spacing.

Let me know if it's showing up correctly in other screen formats.

Sorry CUDA, I didn't know you had posted this in the E&C. I was just interested in 'acrostic', a word I'd never heard before, but the Governator story is funny too. Here's the link to the story (sorry guys, leftie Huffington Post) with an image of the original letter.
