3 Space Sims that I am looking into...

... waiting to play demos of all of them... Hopefully all 3 will have Joystick Controls and work well.

I tried EVE but was very disappointed in the Mouse and Keyboard only interface.
Personally like to fly in Space Simulations as if I was in a fighter jet.
Imagine telling one of the United States Armed Forces that you were delivering a brand new design for a fighter jet that you only had a mouse for steering and a keyboard for all other functions. They would kick you out of the door so quickly that you wouldn't know what hit you.
Same goes for Space Simulations for me. I really really wanted to buy Freelancer... BUT NO joystick support at all. Sorry but JoyMouse is a poor replacement for Joystick code that SHOULD have been there from day one in the design process.
There are tons of Joystick samples for DirectX that makes adding Joystick Controls easy.
So Freelancer had NO excuses for shipping a product WITHOUT joystick controls built-in.
