Okay before you start ranting about it...
It suppose to parody the era of the late 80s to early 90s that mostly focuses on NES games. They have this blind enthusiasm that they think all games are good and great (e.g. the terrible NES Friday the 13th game), it's just a matter of comedy (and they do mostly on the good ones). And the running gag from the character name Dad (that's right, he's named Dad) is to tell Ace and Chet to \"Take out the trash!!!\"
There is that enough information for all y'all!

And c'mon! They develop some characterism within them. They stopped screaming at the camera for like after Turbo Tips#1. I recommend seeing Gyromite parts 1-5 (in order)
