Tiger Tiger burning bright
In the cities of the night
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful duplicity?
Did He smile His work to see?
Did He who wed the wife care for she?

It's a clever "Tiger Woods" parody on Tiger by William Blake.

Is it original woodchip?

We build them up so we can tear them down.
It's like we want to see how great someone can be but then we need them to fall so we feel better about our mediocrity.
I'd like to see the day when someones amazing achievements are news worthy, their average behavior isn't and we don't seek to overvalue them due to a particular talent. Celebrity is a symptom of our cultures weakness.
I guess I'll be long dead before we evolve to that level though.

Funny, I thought he was paid to be a professional golfer and he also made money from endorsements where producers of product recognize there is a segment of society that are so dumb they will buy something if someone famous endorses it.
But I don't remember him offering himself up as any kind of family guy.

You missed his latest ad where he is reading a night time story to his daughter. Can't remember what was being shilled tho. While personally he may of not been presenting himself as a family guy, by doing so to sell items opens himself up for criticism. If he wanted to have a harem he should of stayed single.

Yea I haven't seen that commercial.
And it is becoming obvious he shouldn't have ever been married, if all these girls are telling the truth he's quite a whoredog. My problem is there are whoredogs in every neighborhood and we'd wonder why the hell any of their stories ever made the news once let alone ten times a day for weeks on end!

I think it can be summed up nicely as:

Who the ____ cares?

Worship of sports stars is a sickness to begin with.

I second that! None of these OVERPAID "sports celebrities" can keep their pants zipped or the steroids out of their systems! The same goes for the worship the entertainment megafreaks too. Phbbttttttttttt!
