This is for the Wii's Virtual Console and the NES game Double Dragon (the 1st one) is already out on the VC (I think).
So, if I have enough Wii points, should I get it for the VC or not?
Well I currently don't have any Wii points yet.

It depends on how much you like it. I don't really know you. Try it out and decide, maybe?
If you already own the original game then it might be worth having it for your primary game console. That way you don't have to switch out systems to enjoy it.

Double Dragon was fun, as I recall. The gameplay was mediocre, but what I remember making it enjoyable was the challenge. From what I remember, it's probably one of the most difficult original NES games out there.

As Burlyman suggested, try DDII. That one had better gameplay (multiplayer co-op).

The xmen and ninja turtle scrollers were more fun to me. But you got more weapons to choose from in DD.

There was only one thing I didn't like about Double Dragon III: there were no \"continues.\" In other words, if you died, you had to start all the way back at the very beginning of the whole game. I did finish it though, or a friend did, I don't remember. xD

I got

Mario3
Toe Jam and Earl I
River City Ransom
Final Fantasy 1 <- play the most, but forgot how much theif sucked. :(

I play those much more then any wii game I have. Something about being able to play a game for just 10-15 minutes that I miss.
