Security question

I'm using the hotel wireless and may need to pay some bills on-line before I get home.
I could get to my on-line banking from here.
Or I have LogMeIn so I can get to my home computer and do it from there or I have a VirtualPC on my home computer.
Or I could see if I can install VirtualPC on my laptop here.
What sounds most secure?

Waiting until you get home would be more secure. Ever notice the TOS at most hotels.

Assuming your bank uses ssl for it's site, most do, its just as safe as using encrypted wifi. Its all aes256 encryption no matter how you cut it.

Agree with CCB here, if the site uses SSL, you're fine.

SSL isn't prone to man-in-the-middle attacks is it? I'd guess if you already had preinstalled keys for certification authorities you should be fine.
