Has D1 music ever properly worked?

Post by Image »

was playing Descent 1 v1.5 in DOSBox and got to level 8, where the music stopped playing. i know this has been a problem on my dad's computer when i used to play it on that, so has music ever really worked beyond level 7 all on its own or is there a way for me to fix it?

There is a bug in the 1.x ---> 1.5 patch that kills the music after level 7. Depending on what you are installing from load the 1.x ---> 1.4a then 1.4a ---> 1.5 patch and the music will work properly past level 7.

Take it down. If you can't afford bucks and hopfully put some money in Interplay's pocket to fund new games..
