Here's my question for that guy. \"How do you spell 'duh?' \" It's so obvious! I guess you could get the updates from another computer that has it and then put it on a flash drive, but... I smell failure.

That's not a stupid question at all. The person who gave the answer of \"No, you need internet.\" is the idiot who didn't answer the question properly.
The guy just wants to know where he can download the definition files so he can take them to an offline computer and manually install them. Perfectly good question to ask if the program creators don't make it easy to find.

I do wonder whether it's really necessary to have anti-virus software on a machine that isn't connected to the internet, though. You could always scan the USB drives/floppy disks/whatever with the internet-connected computer...

xaminder, think about it for a second. why would someone need an antivirus program on a computer that isn't connected to the internet.

That's why I called it completely worthless.
It doesn't offer much in protection and has no manual definition update. Even on its website there is no separate definition updater. Not hard to Google something that easy.
