Where I currently live got hit pretty bad last year. I'm not looking forward to 15 possible storms.This past Wednesday, Colorado State issued its next extended range forecast for the Atlantic hurricane season of 2010. It calls for an above average season with 15 named tropical storms.

The team predicts that out of the 15 named tropical storms, eight will become hurricanes with winds speeds reaching 74 mph, and four will mature into major hurricanes. A major hurricane is classified as a Category 3, 4, or 5.
