Been awhile since I played some descent..
Kahn is dead.
Does Kali still have much players?
What about YANG??

Haven't played much since 99-00
just wondering where the community has gone,
I know there are still a few good pilots out there.

D1X preferred, D2X ok, maybe D3 even has a few
good players now, but I know back in the day getting
on a D3 server was like shooting fish in a barrel.

There are no good players left, go play some other game.

Just about everyone that is left lurk in the gamesurge IRC ( details in this thread: viewtopic.php?t=4953 ).

It's difficult to get a D1/D2 game. D3 is where it's at. But at least with D3, you can pop into a popular server, wait a few minutes, and you'll probably have someone join and possibly a large game will form.

I have to mention Vortex... the link above is great, but Vortex wraps in irc chat and shows pings in games.
A nice thing... At least if I am going into a game with a 250 ping and everyone else is under 100 - I am aware and prepared.

If we get enough people back in the Descent community, certainly it would be easier to get poeple into D1 and D2 games.

There's still D1 and D2 games to be had on Kali. Me, rethink, warlord, mater:P, Wlvy several others. Most games are found between 6:00pm EST and 2:00am .

what this newbie meant to say is the crappy players that THOUGHT they were good have all been dried up and cast asunder, where they belonged.
