So much for the left being nonviolent

Post by Heretic »

One veteran police detective said,\"The news media practically invented 'evidence' of Tea Party participants' violent or threatening behavior, but these same reporters turn blind eyes to the violence and vitriol of illegal aliens and others opposed to Arizona's law.\"

Putting aside the terrorism threat, the lack of border security contributes to crime. In Los Angeles, a look at outstanding arrest warrants for homicide reveals that over 90% are for illegal aliens. Examination of all LA felony arrest warrants (murder, rape, armed robbery, etc.) shows that 65% are for illegal aliens. The Manhattan Institute estimates that 350 killers managed to escape back into Mexico and the Mexican government refuses to extradite these killers to the US to stand trial.

So much for the left being peaceful and nonviolent in protest.

Lets not limit the violence to just the anti-immigration protesters. Lets see what Slates editor David Plotz has to say about wall street during a pod cast:

That inspired an \"impassioned\" populist response from Plotz.

\"Can I spin this question in an entirely different way -- which is, I don't really care what Wall Street banks have to say because I'm not a politician,\" Plotz said. \"I don't take a lot of donations from them. I think it is appalling and shocking that neither party, either President Obama who wants real financial reform or the Republicans who ought to as well have stood up and taken the reasonable American position, which is the behavior of Wall Street, is absolutely disgusting.\"

\"And we shouldn't talk to them, try to persuade them,\" he continued. \"We should burn them down. We should go after them with pitchforks, knives, guns, clubs we find, mace - anything, because it's appalling.\"

So akin to the Nazis brown shirts and the German Jews, Plotz is advocating a modern day kristallnacht against the people working on wall street.

And the people on Wall Street are nice little altruistic, honest, hard working people that don't deserve it. Horse puckey! They're no better than burglars and thieves that should be put in jail at the very least.

The illegal aliens ARE a problem, but Arizona went about it the wrong way. You can't racially profile a large segment of the population and be fair and just about it. What SHOULD have been done to solve the problem in the first place would have been to go after businesses and farmers that HIRE these people. If there are no available jobs, they wouldn't be coming up here in the first place! BUT, you can kiss cheap produce goodbye since no one in this country will pick it for the wages they want to pay. And even if we had willing people to work for those wages, we have a demographic shortage of young, strong people in the U.S. right now.

First the Wall street people didn't break any laws they may have done unethical things but they didn't break the laws.

Second the Government should have upheld the law and defended our borders from an invasion of people who are just breaking the law by coming in to our country the illegal way. We have cities that harbor the illegals and give them benefits that Americans only should be getting. If you want cheaper produce make the government stop paying farmers not to grow on their land. Shortage of young, strong people I think that is lie it's more like them not wanting the work because they think the work is beneath them.

Oh I think you drop your sign.
