I come back for a week and start complaining...

What's with the missile farm levels and 15 second respawn? I take a brief 7 year hiatus and boaters take over the mines...

There's a crowd of players who enjoy just goofing around and missile-boating; the Abend / Subway servers are up for those folks during the earlier parts of the day.

Don't worry, though. The more competitive games with the better players are still around... just later into the evening/night.

I am on and available to play from about 7p to 1am PST and other than our little group, nobody is playing.
Our little group consists of Lemac, The Game, Nirvana, Grendel,Tweety bird, Sickone and me.

There is often, if not always a CTF game in Varicose Veins. I can also tell you there are some means ass MD's in there.

Obviously I could have told you that tonight, but I figure a post may draw some more eyes and then some players.

I will also say (you may abuse me later) that although I am not a fan of Subway, I can have a little fun in there. I actually like Abend or Abend 2(I forget which). Yes it is a bit missle heavy, but it can be great fun. There is skill and tactics in that sort of level just like the more primary dependant dogfight levels.

Also remember that the other night (I think Saturday) we had a couple others come in throw some punches, including Sgt. Thorne, I believe it was like 12:30 or 1:30am his time. Yesterday Afternoon I had 4 or 5 players (never more than 4 at once) in Grendel's Fury Core server(nice to see).

I have also stumbled into a few great games over the last 7 or 8 weeks since I've been back. Do I want more, absolutely.

Dustbunny is practicing, Mayhem says he'll come when work allows. Rock says he'll be there soon.

This game is infamous for not letting newbies get any kills, so people play b0at levels so they can get kills.

I wonder if \"Tweety Bird\" is actually Tweety from back in the day.

DITTO! It seems the oldskool players are on around 9pm-1am PST--when the kids are tucked in bed I've been waking up at 6am EST lately, but I was up till 5am this past Saturday night lol
