Memorial day and the Pretender in Chief

Post by AlphaDoG »

Seems President Obama is NOT going to be on hand to lay a wreath on the tomb of the unknowns this year. Instead he plans a family get away in Chicago. I suspect he'll be cooking out with the unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers while VP Joe Biden gets the wreath laying detail.

Personally, I feel Obama is further separating himself from many independent minded voters he will sorely need to achieve reelection in 2012. I also feel he is disrespecting each and every veteran that is and has ever served in any overseas contingency operation.

Reagan and George H.W. Bush both did the same thing during their presidencies. It's not a vast Obama conspiracy to shun our military dead. Sheeesh!

I guess the Gulf oil spill is not so bad if the Pres. can go on vacation.

In the Presidents defence. the job really is one crisis after another, if he went on vacation at some other time he'd probably be criticized for not being around for SOME kind of event. hell the left did that Bush all the time. it just becomes a reason to try and find fault, and NO ONE can stand up to that scrutiny.

I have no problem with him taking a vacation, he is after all never really on vacation. when you or I go on a trip we can leave the cell phone at home. he cannot his advisors are always near by

I guess, but it sounded like he said he wasn't going to rest until the gulf thing was taken care of. I don't have the exact quote...

America is safer with him on vacation. If he'll promise to do it often and take Pelosi and Reid with him for extended trips I'll even help pay for it...oh, wait...I already do.

LOL, I don't even go to the Soros site. It's as much propaganda as The Daily Kos, which I will admit to posting ONE link to out of desperation. As for commentary AlphaDoG, if you're going to bash what the President is doing, at least acknowledge that past presidents, of BOTH parties, have done the exact same thing you're decrying, even if it is out of decorum.

Well, thank GOD that Bush the Younger took a lot of LONG vacations or we'd be really screwed!

When my commentary is meant to bash both parties my commentary will reflect that. That being said I have since seen where Mr. Obama will indeed be attending a memorial service as well as a backyard BBQ with his communist friends. So no harm no foul.
