It's true but the net result is increasing her punishment beyond the average offender only because of her celebrity. An ironic twist to special treatment status to be sure.

My instinct tell me she did that for the paparazzi and in my view it's the best thing she's done off screen in a long time!
If I was a celebrity I'd be constantly in jail for breaking cameras and I'd buy bear spray by the case and wear those bastards out!

Maybe, but making loads of cash \"acting\" and \"singing\" doesn't give someone the right to act like a spoiled brat and jackass or expect special treatment when they break the law. She needs to grow up and get a dose of the real world and all it's warts, not her fantasy world of wild parties and excess.

Regardless of what she does and what she doesn't deserve, paparazzi are one of the few totally useless life forms in the chain....remove them and the planet wouldn't miss a beat. The gossip industry is a truly useless parasite.

If idiot people with no lives of their own weren't clamoring for salacious pictures of all these celebrities, we wouldn't have the paparazzi in the first place because there would be no money in it. But I do agree, the paparazzi are just blood sucking vermin that only interfere with or destroy the lives of people that are in the public eye.
