Dubya gets the blame for starting and feeding THIS privatized monster of a spy network, but Obama has let it grow............ Now how safe are we? I seriously doubt that ALL these people, agencies and private contractors are actually any more efficient at SHARING information and ACTING promptly on it than we were on 911. And how the hell can that many people have top secret clearances and yet guarantee that someone, who works for government pay, won't turn out to be a mole for a higher price? There's no way to keep oversight over THAT many people! What happened to lean and mean? And what's this mess costing us?

Republicans want to cut spending and the deficit, well, they can start with this mess of government/private agencies! That IS their mantra, 'privatizing government will be more efficient and cost effective'. NOT!

We could just hire a bunch of monkeys to do the job. It'd be a lot cheaper, they work for bananas, and we get about the same quality of intelligence we're getting now.
