Boa constrictors. Clean, don't have take for a walk and you only have to feed them once a month. They're my main squeeze. :P

Fish are my pets of choice, they never leave messes on carpets and you vacuum the tank once a week and they're fine. That and you can train goldfish, walk near the tank before you feed them and you'll see what I mean. :)

Dogs, hands down. :)

Cats are ok...

But dogs are smarter.

However I did manage to teach 1 tough Tom street cat to fetch a frisbee though, but that is literally 1 cat in thousands of cats I'm sure.

He used to bring me dead mice to my 442 W-30 driver's door. :)

Dogs aren't smarter. Dogs are dumber, definitly by far. Just because cat's don't obey you doesn't mean that they're dumb. Cats are independent, that's all. Pay attention to your cat sometime, some of our cats have learned to open doors. I have a kinda creepy story actually but I don't have the time to tell it right now.

Oh yeah and I did teach one cat to fetch sometime. Lol.

Although not to say dogs are that dumb... lol we also taught our dog numbers. "Get one toy!" or "Get two toys!" etc.

The reason dogs are better to train is because of their eagerness to please their 'master'. Thats pack mentality for you. A cat, on the other hand, is more likely to give you a "screw that ★■◆●, do it your damn self ★■◆●" look than actually do what you want. :P Its amazing what you can teach a dog to do in just a couple of minutes. Hell, I taught my mother's poodle to walk on his hind legs forwards and backwards. He'll even walk and jump at the same time. I did that in the space of five minutes. I got the other two (whom you've all seen before whenever I've posted my mug) to count, jump, high five, etc. What shocked me is that sometimes they'll make up their own tricks. One day I bent over to point at something and Shadow (the female) jumped up and liked me on my face. That was something I had NEVER shown either one of them anything remotely like that before (we didn't have the poodle then).

My cat has voice and face recognition. It's pretty easy to tell, because he acts differently around different people before they interact with him. He climbs a ladder up and down every day to get to his favorite spot in the house. We didn't even have to teach him that. He has a pretty large vocabulary (much much more than bark, whine), including varying degrees of certain terms, like hello, enthusiastic hello, hello come pet me, and hello let my lay down on your bed. He is not as stereotypically isolationist as cats are usually portrayed. He hates being alone to the point where he will follow me when I go hiking. He once followed me up two miles of steep trail on a hot day, with black fur. Besides, all the dogs I know can barely catch a ball, let alone a bird.

You had a Olds W-30? They were modified from stock in Brighton, MI and I used to see them lined up in the parking lot as I went by on my way to work.

Pet Wars? I'm definitely a better cocker spaniel than my dog. I caught a lizard today with my barehands at work whereas my dog seems to lose it every time.

Yup, 0-60 in like 5 seconds... his n' her shifter (hurst dual gate), variable stall torque converter, etc.

Man I miss that car.

Canuck, I was reading recently in an article about the end of the Oldsmobile marque that the 1972 Olds 442 is now considered the most coveted of all the muscle cars among collectors.

I have one Cat that hunts on the counters & table & one dog that occasionally hunts the garbage can. I love both of my pain in the a$$ pets though.

Being basicaly lazy though I prefer my cat by a slight margin cause we have the same habits as far as just sitting around in front of the puter...
