Vermilion Oil Platform 380, was owned by Mariner Energy has exploded and burning about 200 miles from the BP rig that caught fire and sank. Crew has been rescued with one injury. Unknown if the well is leaking or not.
I thought there was a six month moratorium on drilling in the gulf. WTF!

It wasn't in active production or drilling (and hadn't been for a while), and was in the midst of \"ongoing maintenance\" according to the report.
