This game is mind blowing. It's not out yet but there is a leaked "press demo" and WOW. I mean WOW. From the graphics to the sound to the handling of this game is mind numbing.
You get 2 cars and 1 track, the famous Belgium SPA Francochamps. The amount of detail in this sim is wicked.
It's made for Arcade, Semi-Pro and Simulation. Only last 2 available in demo.
I am definitly buying this game when it's done.

Demo? It is also a mod for F1 2002, going retail a'la Counter-Strike, Tactical-Ops etc.
I am assuming (gasp) that your speaking of GTR. If there is another game, point me towards the title please...

The GTR Mod that was released last year as an add-on to F1 2002 has now expanded into a stand-alone product set for release later this year.

Yes, they did make the MOD for F1 2002 but they are making a completely new sim based on that MOD.

ok finally played it.
i had real trouble getting it to run though, on both 2 pcs (both win2k, both nvidia, one gf2mx, other nforce2).
it would only run sometiems, and seemingly only when i chose weird display settings (only ever worked on max or minumum), but still very intermitent, and it always had texture corruption in the cockpit textures.
but when it ran, it was pretty cool (with steeringwheel).
crank the volume, that car sounds orgasmic
mind you, i'm not very experienced with these types of recent games. so there could be better ones out there.
