Don't worry, the trainer was only slightly injured in this incident. But the side show is what the female lioness is doing. She appears to be helping the trainers. Watch her, she bites the male lion's tail and grabs his back. It's almost as if she's trying to tell the overzealous male, \"Now calm down darling, watch your temper. We mustn't play too rough with the soft human\"!

One poster agrees:
YouTube commenter wrote:if you guys did know anything about lions then you would see that he is just playing .. and the lioness is playing too .. they dont bite each other in the tail while trying to stopa fight .. and you can see while the lion is down he is not trying to bite .. and the lionnes she would be agressive and show some freaking teeth to stop him .. but she is playing too .. you cant hold down a lion if he is attacking and the trainer panicks and runs .. that just makes it more fun for the lion ..
