Supporters also have the suggestion to drive less, eat local and in-season fruit & veg (rather than meat or dairy), to buy long-lasting or second hand goods, as well as repairing and re-using old belongings, avoiding unnecessary packaging or products, cooking only what is needed, and reducing water usage.

Doesn't quite jive with "Logan's Run." Sounds more like "Jimmy Carter." The advertisement is extremely over the top and definitely not suited for television. They must have some air-headed marketing guys if they thought it was a good idea to explode schoolkids.

But bad advertising isn't the same thing as scary fascism.

I watched it muted, but the gist of the video is there's a teacher in a classroom talking to her students, she asks them something (presumably something like "how many of you are recycling?") and only 2 kids don't raise their hands. She shuffles some paper around on her desk, finds a red button, pushes it, and the two contrary children literally explode, showering blood all over the classroom. Quite gory.

They seem awful easy on themselves for being so hard on others. And they shouldn't be apologizing for the violence, they should be apologizing for making such a bloody boring video. It wasn't shocking, funny, or remotely interesting in the least. In fact, it made me NOT want to "go green," just the opposite effect, to not be associated with such lame people.
