If a tree is cut down, does anyone care?

Not at all particularly, even if its some religious symbol held by the local population as some \"miracle.\"

As an atheist myself, I could care less- though this is an attack against what is quickly becoming a religious minority in Europe and Britain.

I know some atheists are militant in nature- but they don't attack churches or anyone else for that matter.

It could be the act of some crazy man on his own- but it is likely this was done in a deliberate act of religious duty.

I'll leave you guessing.

No, because a new tree is usually planted to replace it. :)

Atheists care about christmas trees, well the corporate thugs do, anyway. If there's no more christmas, they won't make the extra money.
