Anyone else watch this? It's based (loosely) on the series of books from Terry Goodkind of which I love. I just finished watching the entire 2 seasons of it and love it. Sadly, it hasn't been picked up for a 3rd season yet.

It's fantasy yes. The books are so much better than the series but I still enjoyed the show.

Could be. Basically the \"seeker\" is someone who is born into the role. he is appointed the seeker by the First Wizard. He is given the Sword of truth which helps him on his quest. The series is about 13 books and will start again this year with new quests but it's well worth it.

After you posted this, I had just finished watching a couple series (Dresden files, Sanctuary). I decided to try and watch this.
LotS was one of the best series I have ever seen. Both my wife and I loved it.

If you enjoyed the show, read the books. They are fantastic and there is a new one coming out July of this year to continue the quest of Richard and Kahlan.

Wasn't that Wizards First Rule? I stomached half of that book and still didn't care about the characters. They're all either too boring or disgusting... I left off right as they were going to enter that void area or evil divide or whatever it's called.

Isaac, yes it was the Wizard's First Rule series. You should of given it a bit more time. Some people I know had to give the Wheel of Time Series the entire first book befire it got interesting.

I don't know, I mean there are so many other books to choose from. Too many to read in one life time. I can't go back to Wizards First Rule.

I read the first couple of WoT books - I just got a smokin deal on the first 11 hardbacks for $70! About halfway through rereading the first one...

I had bought the series in 3 sets of 3 at Chapters. Then had to buy Debt of Bones and the lat 2 books separately. It's an awesome series and another book coming in July. The series was different to the books but that's expected.
