Please note that at the bottom of the forum page is a "new forum link" it is titled DBB Policies, whne you click on it you will be taken to the original policies that Sup and I implemented when the board was founded in 1997, while there might be some old wording this document has never really changed from it's initial conception not does it need to be changed much.

Clicking that policy link results in a general error if you have a theme selected other than the default...

I'm getting the same message but I'm not worried about this. The policies are probably all common sense stuff.

Ok, sorry I am trying to figure out these new forum permission settings.
I guess I have to allow people access, by default it's turn off to users when you create a new forum or forum link.
Anyway please see if it works now.

When you create a new forum/category/link, the best way to set up permissions is to copy them from the PTMC cafe (or some other public visible forum).

The number one policy I only recently learned, that applies to all web forums, is, remember to enjoy yourself.
