Yep- pretty horrible stuff. You would think this sort of thing were confined to the likes of Hitler's Germany, Stalin's Russia, NK or China...but it has happened here.

It's far too easy to dehumanize people. The value of human life is nil- even to other human beings.

The near-constant fact for most people is that most people's lives are nil compared to their own

No, quite the opposite.

Flu shots save lives. On the other hand, the absolutely unfounded anti-flu-shot propaganda out there is responsible for easily-preventable death and disease. I think the latter is the better comparison.

I don't get flu shots because I've never had the flu, and I rarely get sick in general.

40-80 year old news ? Don't know what shoe box you been hiding in TC but this stuff has been reported on years and years ago already.

I guess I'm the only "looney" that thinks flu shots are bad. I haven't had a flu shot since I was 6. The only flu I've had in my life was when I recieved said shot. I've taken care of family members and girlfriends when they had their flu's and I never caught them. But then again, I've been large, strong, and farm-built healthy for most of my life too... Maybe innoculation will be neccessary if I get old. But I refuse to use anti-bacterial soap or Purell or stuff like that either. I'd rather be subjected to deseise and beat it than kill it before it gets to me.

Sure, I've known about something like this for years, but not in this scope or detail. Since there was a recent government apology, to a foreign nation no less, and a presidential bioethics commission meeting about the matter, more information seems to be coming to light about this sordid affair and coverup.

I was only posting this as an example of a truly evil thing that our government actually did in the past.

Well, there is some truth to that. Research has found that people that lived in super clean houses as children were far more likely to develop asthma and allergies as adults. Apparently, the immune system needs to keep fit by fighting the common bugs we are exposed to everyday.

But I'm willing to bet you've had a polio, measles, mumps, tetanus or smallpox vaccine at one time. You definitely don't want to get one of those little buggers. They're either nasty or fatal, or in the case of mumps, not a pleasant experience for adult males, and humans have greatly benefited by getting vaccinations against them.
