After all of the concerns about those body scanners the TSA uses, our fears have been confirmed- at least in this case.
Airport passenger screener charged in distributing child pornography

Don't they at least screen potential employees more seriously for this job?
It doesn't appear the images he used were from the scanners (according to the article) but he was potentially in a position to view and/or store them in his chosen profession.

so exactly how is this story related to the scanners they're using?
If anything, this guy was either completely stupid for posting his own image while he was in a TSA uniform, or he was so sloppy he wanted to be caught.
so yeah, way to read TB.

Your are so funny TB maybe you aught to find out what kind of background checks they do before you charge lack of proper screening for the job. People can get by background checks if they haven't been caught doing illegal acts before the check. Have you ever been through a government screening of your background. Things like educational records, sex offender registry database check, criminal and civil courts’ records, driving records, social security number records check, and past employment background records history are all part of the screening process.
I guess you missed this
Gordon is paid $37,000 annually as a TSA screener, records show. He has no prior criminal record, officials said.

The only comfort is that the little sleazeball used such discreet methods as Facebook and Photobucket to pursue his activities. Not exactly the brightest bulb in the lamp.

so why did you talk about 'getting images from the scanners' if proper screening was the issue?
