There is a whole deep dark world of deadly difference between Putin and his supporters and Obama and his with regard to how they might react to such a request.
And by making me think of it in those terms you have found something I can be happy about when I think about Obama being my President.
As for the request, it's kind of like announcing you want to build a Muslim center and mosque at Ground Zero only the reception is going to be a little different. I think it's going to suck to be that imam, he'll probably be diagnosed with radiation poisoning soon if he isn't careful.
