I haven't been around here in a long time but you guys were always knowledgeable about tech stuff so I thought I'd come here and ask.
I'm looking for a new webhost. This is just a personal site, nothing professional. The main things I want is a decent server account management system and the ability to use a CMS system (I was messing around with ModX on my old site but never got around to completely converting my site over from plain html/css.)

I use JustHost, it works. Linux/apache/php/mysql, cpanel for the controls.

Stay away from GoDaddy, Host Gator and 1and1. I've had fairly extensive experience with each one - they are all pretty slow. 1and1 did the best.
I've had good experience with Simple Helix and Site5. Rackspace cloud is pretty good too, but you need to know what you are doing.

I have been using 1 and 1 for over 6 years and not one single issue, just keep receiving more features for my money

I seem to have a better workout dodging your stupidity than attempting to grasp the weight of your intelligence.

Bluehost. I've used them for many years and have been so happy with their service, I've never even thought to look for another host - even though there may be better, cheaper services out there.
