I was wondering if one of you guys played this game. I was talking about the 1998 video game by Activision. It reminded me of Mechwarrior for the controls and graphics but also adds a nice RTS feel to it.

I've played it once back in the 90s. I remember feeling frustrated by it, though now that you've linked it I should try it again. I think I liked the Atari BattleZone better.


I don't think this has a first person shooter mode in it, though I haven't tested it yet, it's suppose to be one of the best free 3d RTS games out there. I've read posts with users saying they prefer it to Starcraft 2. You might like it: http://wz2100.net/

I never tried it but it looks kinda cool for that era. i'm currently waiting for the next MW game.
