I wonder is he talking tough because he anticipates there will be an agreement and he wants to be sure to keep the angry arabs angry so he doesn't lose face?
Maybe he really is just completely consumed with hatred so anything they do must be done in a 'we will kill the jews' context or it feels wrong at its core no matter how right it is.

It's so hard to take any of them serious anymore, they have been at it so long I really don't think they can change. You would have to remove all their children at birth and raise them outside of the conflict. Teach them the story. Explain the madness that has taken over their parents minds and the players behind the scenes that created the conflict. Let them study the world and their culture with the hatred and propaganda neatly confined to it's proper page in the history books then when they are at the right age go in and take away what is left of the old ones and replace them with the grown children.

Of course you will have to kill the ayatollah nutbag and his minions in Iran or else they will just send in replacements for the missing children.

Israel has American defense dollars. Hamas has nothing comparable.

Israel also has over 30 nuclear warheads, tanks, helicopters, a lot more troops and air defenses.

So who do you really think will wipe out the other.
