Unsubstantiated heresy :) On a different note, I actually. found myself
agreeing with his economic rhetoric this morning. Asking that everyone pay an equal percentage of their pay is nowhere near class
warfare. Class warfare is having different tax brackets that heavily favor the rich. That in itself is enough to create classes, where one side gets to keep a greater percentage of already immense profits, and the other is left with just enough to retain their station. I had a hard time finding anything to accuse him of there. His ideology and therefore him personally I have problems with, but his speech today seemed a reasonable compromise. The republicans might should give this a genuine look or it's a possible tar baby to them.

Well, Anita Dunn now outright denies she said it was a hostile workplace. Maybe she got cold feet after publication.

However, I for sure wouldn't put it past all those ex-Clinton creeps that work under Obama to be sexist hairballs. Rahm Emanuel and Larry Summers just strike me as misogynists. Obama seems a little too wimpy of a man to be sexist, BUUUUUT, maybe he's compensating for something. If Obama tolerated it, well, he's as bad as those creeps that work for him.

You focused on the sexism part of Suskind's book Heretic, but the rest of the book is pretty revealing about what was going on with policy and decision making as well. Not pretty.

I DO hope Obama can get his "Buffet Rule" implemented though. The alternative minimum tax was never adjusted for inflation and it now puts a big crimp on those in the middle class. I would not have any sorrow to see it go away in favor of a more progressive tax rate.

Heh, well, there's also the possibility they were not really offering anything of substance and got their feelings hurt.

I've worked in an all male environment before. My male coworkers always would razz me, but it usually came off as something funny and I usually went along with it. Sometimes I would razz them back. One boss I had was the polar opposite. He was leering and creepy in his jokes and it showed he had an attitude towards women that was not nice. A girl can tell if a coworker or boss is "funnin' around" verses being outright misogynistic and condescending towards the opposite sex.

Wasn't she the one I labeled as "Lizard Lady" from her you tube speech about how she loved Mao?

Not surprisingly, I think a great deal of the current administration are admirers of the Chinese.

Not just Washington, but Wall Street and corporate America as well. The Kleptocrats need cheap labor and a country without those pesky pollution restrictions to feed and support their Kleptocracy.
