Mozart question.

What's the darkest Mozart piece, besides the beginning of requiem, the uncut version. There's a song I'm trying to find. That's all I can remember from it.

Well it starts kinda soft then builds to a "BAAAAAM" and you hear GREAT words in some other language. It's dark and epic. And then you get "BAAAAAAAAAAM" again and it stabs your soul as you stare into an ocean of energy. That's all I got.
edit: The person I asked said it was Mozart from a distance. She could have been wrong. I've been searching youtube ever since.

That describes a lot of works.
Chances are its probably from Wagner's Ring Cycle.

Sure it's Mozart you're looking for? Igor Stravinsky's "Firebird" and Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana - O Fortuna" both match your description. I really like O Fortuna. Dark, evil and brooding. Too bad it's such a short movement. It gets over just as you're settling into it.
