Log into my spare computer on my network?

I tried to get onto my "spare" computer through my network and it's asking for a password.

It's asking me to enter my password to get onto "spare" but the name above where you add the password is the computer I'm on, not the computer I'm trying to access.

Can I find the "spare" computer's password?

Also, I can see my main computers files from the "spare".

Or if all else fails can I reset my password on the "spare".

This worked but still want to find password.

1. Click Start
2. Right click Network<
3. Choose Properties (opens up the Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center)
4. Click "Choose homegroup and sharing options" in the lower list (this opens "Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center\Homegroup")
5. Click "Change advanced sharing settings..."(this opens "Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings")
6. The setting right before the last one is: "Password protected sharing"
7. Choose "Turn off password protected sharing" and you are good to go "without any restarts" and stuff.

you use a user login that is on the "spare" machine; but you've just negated the need for that...

Well, I can't say that worked to smooth after all.

I can see the "C" drive on the "spare" but can't get past that after sharing all the "User" etc folders.

Tried to "unshare" all of the folders, restarted the computers, clicked on one folder on my main comp that did not disappear after removing the sharing on my spare and voila, I'm seeing and able to accesses the files on "Spare".

Wish I knew what I did but "don't look a....."
