Believe it or not I have never had an occasion to want to share pics but since my recent flying experience in a two-seater open cockpit by-plane I do want to share.
Any suggestions for free sites for sharing pics?

Flickr allows 200 free pics. My first ever plane ride was in a 1942 Boeing Steerman. What a ride it was.

I usually use
Postimage for sticking pics into forums.

I like Picasa web albums, mostly because I like Picasa as a tool.

That is about the same plane I flew in. It was a Museum plane that I paid $90 for a ride. All I can say is it was worth it.

When my parents lived on a rural grass airstrip years ago, one neighbor owned a Stearman that looked just like the one in your picture. He took me up in it once. It was loads of fun! More harrowing landing right over a stand of trees that you could almost reach out and touch.

My wife got a ride in a steerman once. I was jealous. I think the owner took her up in it right after she had finished working on it.
Did you get to do any of the flying, wolf?

I did. We got out over the ocean (live in So Cal) and he said take the stick. Flew for about 5 minutes and he said to make a steep bank which I did. Seemed like the wing pointing down stayed in one place I I just rotated around it.
Very cool! Had no idea it was such a big deal when they offered the ride initially.
