It's awesome.

I can never decide if I prefer zica laser, laser, or the lightning cannon.

Also, for secondaries, I always liked sonic wave.

What do you guys think?

Ship: Fang (ship with most armor that still has the temporary invulnerability combo)
Front: Zica Laser (iirc, it narrowly has more dps than ordinary laser)
Rear: Banana Blast (banana bomb kicks butt)
Left sidekick: Plasma Storm
Right sidekick: Battleship-Class Firebomb

I don't know about the front. The laser cuts through enemies, while enemies absorb the zica laser, IIRC. Thus, when things are getting really clogged up, you end up doing more DPS with the regular laser because you get "splash damage" with stacked enemies.

My only complaint about plasma storm is that it lasts about half a second.

I'll have to brush up my memory of the BS-Class FB, and the banana blast.

Worst thing ever: accidentally picking up that scrub primary when you had zica laser when you're playing arcade mode.

Too many nice weapons.

My personal favors.

Front Weapons: Laser, Zica Laser, Hyper Pulse, Mega Pulse, and Protron Z
Rear Weapons: Sonic Wave, Wild Ball, Guided Micro Bombs, and Rear Mega Pulse
Left Sidekick: Wobbley, Vulcan Shot Option, Zica Flamethrower, and Plasma Storm
Right Sidekick: FrontBlaster II, Protron Tangerine, Battleship Firebomb, and Beno Wallop

That weapon is also glitched. Any enemy touches your ship when fired is sudden death for the bad guy. Same thing holds true for the Front Sonic Wave, Mega Cannon, and Zica Flamethrower.

It doesn't cut through Mega Cannon style if that's what you mean.

Plasma Storm is short lived, but it's also insanely powerful. It's well worth it in my opinion. Plasma Storm, the Fang's temporary invulnerability combo, and the Ice Shot special weapon are the only way I can beat the game at Lord of the Game difficulty. Speaking of which, I almost forgot: my favorite special weapon is the Ice Shot, great for freezing those enemy ships.
