If anything would fit that description, it would probably be calculus, since almost everything higher up is based on it.

I'll admit you're probably more correct in the pure sense, but I like sticking with math that can actually do something physical.

All I know right now is that my class involving Statistics and Differential Equations rolled into a big ball is kicking my butt.
