I thought PETA was just kooky...

But it turns out that the organization that claims to care about animals even to the point of near militancy is just a scam. They care nothing for the animals they 'care for' and just take money from unsuspecting donors. Of course, hypocrisy is not exactly a concern for thieves and swindlers (and animal killers in this case.)

And here's a site that documents PETA's murderous ways:

Heard about that. It surprised me that PETA was purportedly involved in animal adoption. Apparently they were more interested in the money and their agenda (which apparently only involves the ethical treatment of animals which are convenient to have around).

This is why I don't donate money. I find people that need help or purchase the stuff for them. If you donate, you can never be sure of what your really supporting.

It’s the same with the SPCA…what’s the point again?

geez, that is old news. That has been an issue in Virginia for around the last decade.

The SPCA may have to euthanize some animals, but certainly nowhere near 95% of them. And unlike PETA, they don't pretend that they're not doing it. This isn't really new stuff, either; Penn and Teller did a fantastic episode of "bull★■◆●!" about PETA's hypocrisy several years ago.
