Life in Niagara Falls, New York

Is nothing like in the brochure. I just moved here from Northern California.
It is decaying, and dying. A city that was once over 100,000 residents and many beautiful brick and mortar houses is now a slum of just over 50,000 people. There are many open lots where beautiful houses that have decayed from being used and abused as crack houses and have been boarded up and some of which, are bulldozed down. Many a house has boards on the windows, and condemned.
Sorry for the delay, ... what? No delay? oh well, I had to step away from the computer for a bit to eat some dinner.
I just had grits for dinner.
First time for everything I guess. I've always wondered what horses and cows eat. Now I know.
The grits my mom cooked up were green, due to the Spirulina she adds to her grits, as well as the flax seed.
My stomach has not yet decided what to do with the grits. So I may have to step away from the computer for a bit soon. For now though... hit submi
