Its about damn time, I've been saying it for years, we need to mine the asteroids.

I applaud their efforts. I'm highly skeptical that any of this will come to fruition in my lifetime (I'm 56), but I don't think a long time horizon should stop them. I've been keeping up with what they are doing at the Space Studies Institute for many years. Seems to be in a similar vein. Overcoming the cost to benefit ratio would seem to be the major hurdle.

Yeah, this is going to be operating at a pretty massive loss at first, but hey, you have to start somewhere.

time to get our pilots licenses boys, and get ready to deal with the rogue bots.
