.....that Mark Zuckerberg waited until AFTER the Facebook IPO to get married to Priscilla Chan, who he had an ongoing relationship with for 9 years!



#1. He waited so that his wife could be put on the Facebook medical plan.

#2. He waited so that he could avoid California Community Property Laws that say all assets owned before marriage must be shared 50/50 after and he didn't want to risk asking her for a prenup.

3. Fears that market perceptions that he was "moving on" would hurt the IPO.

4. Fears that the wife monkey-on-the-back would put the skids to his creative and ruthless business spirit.

5. Waited to get married so that he could take the money and run to Switzerland before the facebook fashion business trend inevitably tanked, like all internet ideas usually do.

Someone is bitter.

Facebook isn't dieing, but Mark Zuckerman would have to fight tooth and f-in nail to keep sole possession over it. I imagine he and his wife just wanna hang out on a private beach somewhere. I know I'd choose that over fighting with those assholes all the time

Yeah, but now the big investment banks, and by association, Facebook and Zuckerberg, are tainted with the stink of investment scandal ripoff artists for eternal history. Reason #5 is looking more and more like reality. Run Zuckerberg, run!
