I used a scope and projected the image of it on to a piece of paper myself, figured I should check it since it was sunny out and its unlikely any of us will live long enough to see the next one...

Considered that here... but it was cloudy and raining, so nope. Couldn't even see quite where the sun was in the first place.

I saw this by borrowing a friend's glasses. For a tiny, black speck, it was quite majestic.

Just another one of those remarkable phenomenon I had to miss.

Damn you life responsibility.

Also the clouds and rain. Winnipeg is really horrible in the summer.
