I was wondering, might our wonderful and awesome site admin share with us some usage statistics? Specifically, I'm curious about:

1. unique registered user visits a day
2. post per day and avg posts per day/user
3. total unique users who have posted in the last 3 months.

Why am I curious? I've been "back", as it were, for the last 2 weeks and I can't help but notice how few posts seem to be made per day. I'm wondering if our great and wonderful community is at last dying out.

It's been dying for a long time. It died a lot once the .com split.

Yeah, then .com died. Now we're half dead.

They should let me back onto .com and breath life back into it's crusty dead mouth.

also. Yeah i'd really love if this forum had more stats available. requested them in the feedback forum a little while ago, to no avail .
A list of most active posters (some kindof moving average) would be nice. When a forum has been around for a while, Postcount alone just isn't useful, coz ppl go missing.

This site is dying off a little bit... but most game community sites that I've been a part of aren't much more active -- even for relatively new games (like, came out last year new games). And there are a bunch of other sites in the Descent community which are still very much active -- PlanetDescent.net being the most notable one. And I said that because I'm tired and I can't think of the others.

Sounded a lot more like Issac Newton... there's a real jerk who everyone remembers. Unfortunately for things other than being a jerk, or I could put a moral to his story.
