I keep wanting to see the other side, but it never comes. It's incredibly frustrating.

I want a high def version of that gif so when I have my own office one day, I can put up a 32inch screen out in my reception area and just have this image looping on it all day. Drive anyone out there insane.

actually now i'm kinda extra curious, is this effect dependant on there being a horizon with vanishing points? ie: it's dependant on being on a spherical planet? I wonder what a spherical panorama would look like if it were taken on a hypothetical infinite flat plane (ie: not on a planet) with thus no disappearing horizon.
i mean that's what causes our common notions of horizons right? spherical planet yeah?
(too early for me to think about geometry or perspective apparently...)
