I don't like quite a few bands on that list. I tend not to delete them though, for some reason.

526 tracks, 36 hours 39 minutes 51 seconds.
about 450 of them i ripped myself into ogg vorbis, the rest are songs i like but do not wish to pay 15 bucks for 1 song and some bs filler.

Whats the difference between ogg and mp3? Qualitywise? Compression wise vs an uncompressed .wav?

OGG is a superior format to MP3 in the purely technical sense. It sounds better than MP3 at lower bitrate, and has a non-hacked-on ID3-esque metacontent system.

yes, what he said. i prefer ogg vorbis to mp3, but a standalone dvd player wont play a ogg disc
i heard something about a new(ish?) format that allows you to compress without losing any quality from the CD, but it was still a hefty file weighing in at something like 25mb's per song on average. alot better than those huge wav's
i'll have to dig around and check it out, then re-rip all my cd's.

Hehe, I should mention that loading all those MP3s and then reading the duration caused Winamp to consume 281,000k of RAM. That was fun!
