I was rooting around my stuff and found a westell 802.11G Wireless USB Adapter that someone must have given me.
How is supposed to work. Does it turn a wired service into a wireless connection?
Googled it and it must go way back.
Westell 802.11G Wireless USB Adapter?
Re: Westell 802.11G Wireless USB Adapter?
You can plug it in and connect a computer to a wireless network, or create one.

Similar to wired networks you're used to, it requires at least 2 points of contact to be useful.
You need at least 2 wireless devices to have a wireless network.
One wireless device does not a network make . You'll need another one, or a wireless router, or a wireless printer, or uh... oh you could probably use it to connect your cell phone (modern cell phones can connect to computer wireless networks).
